Description
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery used within our sawmill operations. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Work cohesively with maintenance and production team to resolve production issues.
- Develop and provide preventative electrical support.
- Communicate with supervisor regarding any electrical issues.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certification.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license
- Must be available to work various shifts - Days, Afternoons, and Graveyards
- Minimum of 2 years Sawmill/Planer experience.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently follow safe work practices and procedures.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently, or in a team environment.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Solid background in heavy industry.
- Must be willing to relocate to Mackenzie.
